We likely lead for all of Sesay - Folorunsho - Parks - Mekhai Brown. Would be an awesome DL class by itself, but also have a shot at Fakatou + other elite guys.
I'd take 3 DEs for sure and I'd be willing to go as high as 3 DTs if the right ones wanted to come.

With Bryce Young, Boubacar Traore and Keon Keley all likely gone by the conclusion of 2027 and only Loghan Thomas and Dom Hulak as a bridge to the freshman combo of Ewetade / Dunham, I think ND would greatly benefit from an influx of 3 quality, projectable edge rushers, even if one is more of a project that needs a couple years. Elite edge rushers are hard to get in the Portal due to their rarity and cost, therefore, developing them from the high school ranks will continue to be paramount for ND.

Sesay, Brown, and a developmental type would work for me.

I don’t think Keon is going to leave after one season in which he isn’t likely to be a starter. That dude isn’t going to squander his second opportunity to develop and graduate from Notre Dame. And unless Bryce puts up first round-like numbers, he isn’t likely to leave, either. Those two are the presumptive starters next year after a year of a pretty successful DL coach.

I agree with your assessment. Exactly why I project them to all be gone gy the conclusion of 2027, not 2026. I anticipate 2 years of Keeley at ND.

I don’t think it matters, but I also don’t think Bryce Young is starting over Keon. Keon has not lit the world on fire but Young hasn’t really done anything either.
