Big visit first visit this weekend. My guess is this brings us even with u$c and osu.

Interested to see if we pull even or quickly resonate and close the deal here. I've not heard how much nil is a factor with his recruitment, which is always a battle with premier dlinemen.

USC pays a ton in order to keep them from taking other OVs. Sucks
Bowden likely said get your visits in now because once you commit, no more are allowed. That's why he moved his ND visit up from the spring game to this weekend that just passed.

Brown was quite complimentary of the culture at ND, especially for everything outside of football. Going to an elite New England prep school, I think he would have an easy adjustment academically/culturally to being a student at ND.

Good get for USC if they land him. ND's board is increasingly shrinking in terms of the top flight DE's, of which they have as options to land.

If we remove Mekai Brown from the equation, remaining difference makers at DE are basically limited to 4 options...

Abram Sesay
Aidan O'Neil
KJ Green (SEC lean)
Marcus Fakatou

Beyond that you have the following "project" options...

Santana Harvey (SEC lean)
Ifeanyi Emedobi
Esa Wittingburg

Note that David Folorunsho and Alifeleti Tuihalamaka are not DE's at the next level. Both will play 3 tech.

In order to have not "failed" along the DL in this cycle ND has to go 2 for 4 among their remaining 4 difference makers on the edge. After that, they'll try to land a "project" to bolster the numbers. Anything short of 2 for 4 among the top group is a step back from last year's combo of Dunham and Ewetade.
