His height is not an issue IMO, hell if Tyreek Hill at 5'8 can make it as big as he has in the NFL then Robinson should be fine in college with his speed and quickness.

He's not Hill or Steve Smith yet, so id counter his size is a limiting factor upon entry on offense against some teams/ defenses.
His immediate utility imo is in the return game. CJ Sanders+. Big time production against great comp from the slot/field. Could be another kid that jumps several levels after a year with Landow.

Stovall?? Not the best example for saying you want tiny speedsters on the outside lol
Right. He was a high point guy. BQ would get it up there for him to outjump the defender and snag the rock outta the air. Nothing wrong with that, but Stovall was indeed not known for his speed.

Stovall was very much known for his speed coming out of HS as he was compared to Randy Moss. I think they definitely overrated his speed because they were claiming he ran 4.28 in HS but nonetheless he was a Track star and ran in the mid 10.7's as a JR in the conference meet, which is moving for a 6'5" 205lb guy in HS.

Ran a 4.57 at the Combine.

I don't think his time at Notre Dame is going to have anyone recalling him as a burner, but I have to admit I don't recall him as a recruit, so this makes it a bit more interesting. Wonder what happened?

I'm aware of what he ran at the combine, but plenty of fast people have ran slower at the combine. 2x NFL Fastest Man runner up Michael Haynes ran a 4.5, as well as Devin Hester, Dante Hall, Laverneous Coles and the list goes on and on.

He was in the class above mine so I recall very much how they always claimed he ran sub 4.3 before coming to camps and how he was the next Randy Moss but much stronger and bigger.

Did they exaggerate on his speed? Yes

But was he fast? Yes, he did run a 4.42 at camp

Mo was stiff and had limited route ability. He was a power fwd with great hands.

Your agility and technique matter more than your straight line speed. You have to be able to bend low and have quick feet to break man coverage.

And I loved Mo .. Him Rhema/Shark made a crazy underrated WR corps.

And to follow up my other post, you also need at least some size so you can escape press. If Robinson can get the muscle strength to not be effected by press coverage, he's going to be incredibly dangerous

Does better in contested balls than one would expect given his size. Lines up outside more than in the slot. His QB did not impress imo

Yes, interestingly enough he lines up in the boundary more times than not in his offense.
