The U really is making their way around the Chicago Area. When Mario is offering WR from Wheaton St. Francis, that's covering some ground.

"...And he’d love the opportunity to play for the Irish.

“He's always been a Notre Dame fan,” his coach says. “He really likes the school, loves everything that Coach Freeman's doing out there. To be able to play for a school and get an education from Notre Dame is huge.

“Notre Dame always seems to be in the mix for the College Football Playoffs or the National Championship and he wants to be able to go out there and play at that type of level. And then maybe one day, if he's lucky enough, play on Sundays.”

Receivers coach Mike Brown has been to St. Francis to check on Washington in person. If the Irish decide to offer, we’re told it’s “100 percent” one that he’d take very seriously."
