Seems a tacky way to handle it. That is two d line in this class that flipped to colorado and the other Michigan. Not sure two makes a pattern but would prefer its a little more honest than just ghosting and hoping they get the hint. Clearly staff wanted other players but then either should not have taken the commitments or once mistake was made own it and be honest.

You have to remember you are hearing only one side of the story.
ND can’t discuss recruits, commits, or kids who sign elsewhere.
So ND can’t tell their side, ever.

Exactly……you KNOW there is more to the story than “I was ghosted” for no apparent reason.

Davis-Swain repeatedly took visits to other schools after his commitment to ND. The staff didn’t view him as a serious commit, and quite frankly, neither did he.
I think it was Driskell who said that BDS (Dad) starting asking ND about NIL (I'm assuming upfront) payments cause other schools were offering it. ND told him they don't do that and he basically kept getting offers on his visits so ND backed off cause everytime they spoke to him his dad brought up getting paid. Fast forward to him committing to Colorado and watching his dad insert himself in his commitment video and the story adds up. The sad part was watching his dad look at him and say "Are you sure this is what you want, cause ain't no going back..." and BDS kinda saying yeah. He was kinda steered towards the $$$.
