Awesome to see two former ND guys that probably would have never saw the field again at ND barring injuries excel at Syracuse. Played on a good team and were big time contributors.

Yep, he started to go out of High School but je was a very high academic kid as well as tremendous athlete and favored ND for having best of both worlds. Even just played the school route at Vandy for a season and saved another year of eligibility, wish he would've stuck it out and been moved to offense for us.

Unless he was injured he couldn’t save a year of eligibility. He already used his redshirt as a freshman at ND.
