He’s at 5’11 1/2, 198 for Spring ball.

Secretly really excited about him playing early and often. Physically ready. We’ll see how fast the game is.

Does he start his career at corner? At his current size he fits the bill of a corner as long as he moves like one. Would be nice if he grabbed a hold of the boundary spot so Lewis can play the field.

per 247, it sounds like both him and Barnes are going to start out at CB. When I posted the above I was going to make the bold prediction that I think Riley is what we thought we were getting in Griffith. I guess we’ll have to see.

I hope you are correct. I hope he is good enough to grab the starting boundary spot by fall. And I hope Houston this year lives up to the potential we thought when he came in.

yeah it thought Houston Griffith and derrick allen would be starters at safety for ND by the end of their freshman year.

Damn was hoping we’d move him to safety. Can understand if the kid wants to play corner.
Same, kind of feels like a shame he didn't get a shot at S, if he wanted, within the last two years.
