We have had night’s sleep after what happened. I’m still mad & disappointed. We said a lot of things in other threads. Going full super villain, not giving ESPN the time of day when we are at home, investing heavily in NIL to truly be the Yankees of college football, etc. All of this sounds amazing & in a perfect world it leads to us winning multiple National Championships & laughing at all the people that hate us. But, we all know this isn’t a perfect world. What does our future really hold? What stops the committee from shafting us next year even if we go undefeated or only have one loss? What stops the committee from perpetually ranking us 13 when 12 is our magic number just to give one of their favorites the nod?
All of the stuff we talked about yesterday sounds amazing. But, does ND have the power to counteract this or are we gonna keep having things happen to us like what happened yesterday until we do what all of the folks against us want to do & “jOiN a CoNfErEnCe!!!111”. Y’all are more level headed & knowledgeable than me, let’s talk about it.
