Other than MF, only serious candidate ND fans talked about to replace BK was Luke Fickell. I still think he’s a good coach but Wisconsin is struggling. Maybe he inherited a depleted roster but I don’t recall much noise about that?

This game was a new low for them this year. Got their QB back (Mordecai) played Northwestern and lose by a bunch. In Madison. Shouldn't happen.

I can think of a few hundred better uses of that kind of money.

He wants an offense that doesn't look like the Alvarez/Bielema/Chryst Wisconsin offense we've all come to know for the last three decades. That's going to take some recruiting cycles and transfer portals to make happen. Not everyone can realistically be USC or Colorado when it comes to reshaping a team.

I think the biggest surprise is that they are not improving. I think Fickell is a good coach, but he's going to need some time to make that offense look modern.
