Maybe he'll prove me wrong next year, but every time I hear an analyst talking about how Patterson is going to flourish in the spread, I think of seeing him barely being able to stand up by the 4th quarter or our game last year.

That was glorious. I felt extremely bad for the WF QB by the end of that game, too. In fact, ND made many QB's lives pretty difficult last year. Syracuse's QB didn't make it 2 full series IIRC.
