Jalen Kimber, Ryan Watts, and Mordecai McDaniel are 3 of the most coveted DB's in the country and they'll all be on campus this weekend which is massive.

I think his upside as a defensive ATH. I'd rather take an extra guy like this versus forcing the function at LB. Seems like that's how it's trending.

I couldn't agree more. After looking at the slim pickings on the LBer offer board, I checked out the DB list and there are some heavier and bigger DB's who could transition to LBers in the future which would be awesome. I like that continued trend because it will probably allow for an increase in good coverage guys. Darius Snow, Mordecai McDaniel, Elijah Gaines, and others fit that mold of maybe a safety in ND's scheme. Also, there are guys who can and have moved from DB to LBer like Jordan Genmark-Heath and Paul Moala with Derrik Allen spoken about as a potential candidate to move forward if necessary. I wouldn't be surprised if ND took a large number of DB's this cycle with plans to move some guys around or fit them into different positions.
