For those not following, he took a job at ASU after his GA at USC. He has been placed on paid leave as part of the NCAA investigation going on. He is joined by Prentice Gill (who was also coaching at USC at the same time Hawkins was). This is on top of Breneman's paid leave (yea, that highly ranked TE who went to PSU in class of 2013, same class as Hawkins, but had injury problems).

Hawkins was/is considered a blossoming recruiting star, as he snagged to 4* commits thus far in class of 22, including a fringe top 100 player who had offers to many national schools.

I am sure it's just a coincidence that Gill and Hawkins have significant USC backgrounds.....
