• scUM: Bring it back to a 1 goal deficit on the PP @ 12:10
• ND: And no sooner do I update, ND gets the 2 goal lead back courtesy of Josh Sciba @ 13:14. ND leads 4-2
• ND: Ryan Thang makes it 5-2 on a bad turnover in front of scUM's net.

The truth is Michigan didn't play a bad first period. And the Wolverines weren't awful in the second either. But U-M trailed 2-0 after one and 5-2 after two periods in an eventual 7-3 loss to Notre Dame at Yost Ice Arena Friday. The defeat dropped Michigan a point back of the Fighting Irish for second place in the CCHA standings with Sunday's game at ND presenting an opportunity to retake the lead …
