Dukes is another prospect that knows Brian Kelly from UC. Dukes expects to be at ND's Junior Day in March.

Is it me or is Chuck going to recruit the DBs...

Don't know if that's true across the country or on a spot basis. I thought Martin was Chicago and the Midwest. Cincinnati isn't all that far away.

I imagine Dukes already knows Diacco and several other coaches that made the move to ND as Dukes goes to HS in Cinncinati. This may be in Martin's territory or a chance to get Dukes familiar with his position coach. Martin is playing catchup.

Right now Dukes appears to be the only DB assigned to Martin (publicly) and the only prospect in OH. His other prospects are in MI and IL and include WRs, RB, DE, LB.

I figure it'd be spot basis. I wonder who's going to take Cali and Hawaii. I know Alford has Florida and part of texas..

Colerain is another powerhouse program in Cincy, one of many. My aunt and uncle live down there, and he goes to alot of the HS football games..... will have to check and see if he has seen this kid play.

If those times, weights, and other data are correct, i hope we offer this kid. 615 squat for a 185 kid is impressive as hell.

Cali is supposed to be Denbrock's. Kelly said he will assign a recruiter to Hawai'i for the future.

His 285 Bench is big number for a CB but there are some CBs every year with a similar bench. The Squat is in the stratosphere.

Tony Hurd had a 285 BP and a 485 SQ in the group that just signed. The year before Shamri Benton a 190 pound Safety had 315 BP and 530 SQ and Darren Myles a 180 pound Safety posted a 260 BP and a 525 SQ.

Looking back over the past two recruiting classes I didn't see anybody OL, DL, LB that put a SQ of 615 among the prospects that had interest in ND. One of the top numbers for ND recruits was a 550 SQ by 185 pound RB Theo Riddick. He had a BP of 250.

I live in Cincinnati and I saw him play last year against Elder. Now this is based off of just one game against a really good opponent, but he looked like a ND CB if you catch my drift.Little lost at times.

I would love to see a highlight of this kid. With a squat like that, I would imagine there would be several snot bubble tackles on the film.

Its alright, its always good to hear any info on the recruits, especially if its first hand. Thanks.

Last ND recruit with a squat that high that i remember was Brandon Newman way back in the '08 class from Kentucky i believe. Only difference, if this squat is accurate and not just hear say, was Newman weighed 305 in HS and this kid weighs around 185.

In my experience, as well as many other people's I assume - squat is definitely one of the lifts that you can fudge simply by having improper form. Even though I don't doubt this kid has very good lower body strength, he very well might not have gotten close to parallel on this squat.

My guess would be that this is the case here - his actual max squat could be as much as 100-200 lower based on form. It's impossible to tell unless it was at an actual lifting event.

With that said, a squat in the 415-515 range is still very impressive. I'm excited about this kid's potential

My thoughts exactly Bear, I would have to see that 600 lb squat, but if he can even come close it's very impressive.

According to Scouting Ohio Dukes increased his bench from 285 to 315, his squat from 615 to 680, and picked up an offer from BC.
