ND 4 - 1 MSU
Just back to the hotel after the game in the JACC. ND absolutely owned this game nearly from start to finish. Tight first period, ND played great and did everything but score. As much as I love Dave Poulin, being a lifelong Flyers fan, this coaching change has obviously done wonders for the program. They look like a different team. ND came out in the 2nd period and lit them up for 3 goals. The first was reviewed as MSU claimed ND kicked it in. No dice Sparty, put one on the board. The 2nd and 3rd goals came close together and the JACC was rockin'. MSU pulled one back about 6 mins into the 3rd to make it 3-1 but ND answered making it 4-1 and killing all hope of a Spartan comeback. Got some decent pics....will post a link once I'm home and can get them on the net.
THIS TEAM IS GOOD....REAL GOOD. I think we should definitely challenge for the CCHA title and I would think make the NCAA tourney for sure.
