Currently has nine offers, including Arizona, Auburn, Kansas and Nebraska.

He was also ranked as the #6 Pro QB and #54 overall by Rivals. (uncertain whether those rankings remain true, since Rivals adjusts them all the time)

who knows at this point. the balance is you don't want to just recruit someone to fill in as a warm body. but it only takes a few injuries to end up where UCLA did last year against us, and possibly this year with both of their potential starting QBs going down with injuries.

I actually think Mossakowski is one of the best in the country. Big Texas school QB with all the credentials. Great size, arm and escapability. I thought we would have been hot on him a while ago.

Mossakowski has an offer from Kentucky as well, and likes them a lot, 'cept for the fact they got in late on him.

Yea he really does look like a solid prospect to me, he would have time to develop his skills and learn our playbook due to our back 2 back 5 star catches at QB..if we don't land an above average talent, I'd rather CW just wait til next year to get an elite talent.

Why not take a shot at this guy? In the beginning of the '09 recruiting season I remember thinkin that this guy would probably be one of our top targets at the QB spot. He has some nice measurables and the scouts seem to like him. Even if he is a long shot why not go for it...i mean we've already missed out on how many other QB's..what's one more?

He is predicted to be drafted very high next spring in the MLB draft out of High School. That's why we aren't pursuing him harder.

I heard he's so good that he catches with both hands, which must make it very difficult for him to also hold his goalie stick.

Again, no harm....no QB needed to make this a successful class. 3 on the roster at all times sure, but we can take one next year.

If we don't take one this year, we should be inline to get a stud next season. Those guys like having an empty class in front of them.
