“Utah and San Diego State have offered,” Benyard said. “I’m also hearing from Oregon State, Arizona, Notre Dame, UCLA, UNLV, Oregon and Michigan. I’ve always been a big Michigan fan. They have been my favorite school since I was a kid and they’re still my No. 1 right now.

“I also like Notre Dame, UCLA, USC and San Diego State, that would be my current top five. This summer, I going to camp with San Diego State and maybe Notre Dame as well. I’ll also be attending the NIKE Camp at USC in April. I’m looking for a school with a great football program as well as the best academic fit for me.”

I’ve already been to Washington and liked it there a lot. I’m also hearing a lot from UCLA, Oregon, Oregon State, Notre Dame and UNLV. Michigan has always been a childhood favorite but I’m not hearing as much from them right now.

“My top schools are all the schools that offered along with UCLA, USC and Notre Dame. I want to take some visits this summer and I don’t plan to make an early commitment anywhere right now.”
