D.J.Woods was an exceptional performer at the PSU Nike Combine this past weekend, and is starting to attract the attention of more big time schools, including Notre Dame. Prior to the combine, his two biggest offers were from Nebraska & Iowa, but that is expected to change. Woods 4.35 speed in the 40 is legitimate and is one of the major reasons why interest in him is picking up. He is mostly being recruited as a Wide Receiver but ND is probably looking at him as a CB. Woods will probably not see an ND offer, if at all, until after Brown, Slaughter, and Blanton decide, but the stories out of State College seem to indicate that the ND coaching staff was very impressed with D.J.
