I think it would be tough sledding to get 2 or 3 wins in the tourney. I find it hard to beat any competitive team a second time in the same calendar year. And NC St.'s coach is no joke. He'll have his team ready. Our depth issues also don't spell out success in a tourney with no rest days.
Hannah absolutely took over the 4th quarter and too much a degree the entire second half. If she wasn't scoring, she was creating opportunities for her teammates. If she wasn't getting steals, she was getting rebounds. That was a great win yesterday. Always love when we can beat Jeff Walz.
What a day yesterday. Don't forget about Amber Glenn. She had the second-best free skate of the day. If she were able to land two triple loops, one in each skate, she at least has the bronze and probably the silver.
The media is making this out as, "OSU players don't participate in academics period, all they do is football." It's a gross misrepresentation. The media is not making this into an argument to compare the differences between online and in person classes.
I've never really been into curling all that much, but I saw that they got off to a 4-0 start and I basically watched every game since. I very much enjoyed it.
I did not understand Shrews rotation in the last minute of the game. Having Koehler come in for defense and Towt come in on offense. I would think you would want to do it the other way around. Towt would seem to offer next to nothing on offense in a late game situation except for rebounding...
Watched some highlights, but did not get a good feel for the game. But a win is a win. If the Irish had been able to take care of business against Georgia tech and California, they would be vying for a double bye. We'll see how they do Sunday against Virginia.
I agree. The growth trajectory has been remarkably slow. Time is running out on her to hit that growth spurt. And you may be right, that she is too nice of a person to be a college head coach.
I would also say that while benching a player is your best option to get to a player to improve, we unfortunately have not had that luxury. There was really no one behind Miles to play her. The fact of the matter is that Ivey's roster management has been her biggest downfall to date. I can't...
Right. Certainly, the issue between Hannah and Olivia was a catalyst to some of the dysfunction that persisted in the team. But I suspect it was more than that. It was no secret that both Olivia and Maddy were playing awful defense most of the season. Maybe the separation had more to do with...
The social media post from Hannah occurred during the summer I believe in the off season. Who's to say Ivey did not address the situation and Miles and Westbeld just did not want to get over it?
I’m guessing Ivey’s seat is far from hot. If they were going to fire her it would have been in the off season with her terrible roster management. She has that problem fixed with the recruiting class and based on the transfers football got, I can imagine it will be easier for the women’s team as...
