Never been to Texas' campus, but Ohio ST definitely doesn't fit the small campus bill. You can park on campus and then have to take a bus to get to class. Granted most football players rarely set foot on campus and do their "work" online.

I'll be interested to see what direction they go tonight in the draft. I think they're late enough that they take best available at position of need, but would love for them to be aggressive and trade up if a good edge rusher continues to fall.

I'm really rooting for this kid. I've heard nothing but good things about him as a kid and tag that along with the highlights posted of practice I would love for him to be the type of guy in the boundary we've been wanting for more than 1 year rental for the past few years.

Only thing he has going for him is that Mickens offered him. He rarely swung and missed on the dudes he recruited.

I'm going to avoid star gazing until the staff proves me wrong. There's been a lot of late bloomers the last few years that the analysts have been late to the party on. These guys are paid to make sure they don't miss on a routine basis on the recruiting trail. I can't imagine they're bringing...

They aren't drafting him at 3 IMO. That's just getting the chatter started they need for somebody who wants him to move in front of Tennessee to get him, hence exactly what the article says LOL

I am leaning towards this as well, and I think the guys that are already in the fold allows them to take this risk with Monds. I kinda would like to see him against some higher level competition

Yep, I like the kid on tape, but I also give him a 50% chance at best to stick around for the long haul to be the QB here. Based on nothing else other than there's already 2-3 guys ahead of him that'll be on campus and competing. If he beats all of them out then we probably had a rough year or...

Got around to watching his highlights on the first page. For those who haven't watched yet, you don't need to watch past the first 4-5 minutes. Pretty impressive, but not convinced he plays against elite competition, I could be wrong. I'm no QB guru, but he seems to understand where his windows...
