HUGE following for such a new team. The game they had a week or so ago had more people than both WC games combined that were going on that day. There's a ton of rec leagues around ATL and have a bunch of friends (adults) who play. Soccer is big here.

2010 was great because I watched a lot of games with a bunch of foreign born buddies. 1 from MX, 1 from Slovakia, 2 from Germany, and several from Brazil. 2014 was mainly just me and by 2 buddies from Germany and a few from Brazil. Wasn't fun for the Brazil crowd though lol.

Yup. Being a fan of US, Germany, Ireland, and Italy, really a bummer. Even the fringe teams I cheer for like Iceland and Argentina laid an egg. Add the two teams I dislike the most, England and France made the finals... yuck. France deserves it though. And Croatia played a hell of a WC.

if the Croats can get one more here in teh next 5-10 minutes, it will be an awesome finish.

I'm cheering for Croatia. So England will likely win. And I would cheer for England over France, so I'm sure France will win. You're good. Almost every team I've cheered for has shit the bed.
