If he and Vaughn do reclassify you could be looking at a legit dream class on the Dline next year:
DE- Vaughn
DE- Jacobs
DE/DT - Fakatou
DT - Flanigan
DT - Parks
DT - Robertson
That doesn't even include Whitehead who had a great visit, Williams (DT from Cali that visited for II last summer)...
Ehhh maybe but ISD is pretty diligent about not putting out baseless rumors/clickbaity stuff. I often times wish they would do more of it just to scratch my info itch.
Granted, I say this as an ISD-stan but the point stands regardless.
This is from a friend of someone in the athletics office. Granted I would not be surprised if their inflated perspective of their place in college football made this all wildly inaccurate.
I still don't think DeBoer truly fits at Bama regardless of how well they're doing this year.
Honestly better than where we stood a few weeks ago, just gotta keep chipping away.
This is the only time in my life I'll ever have inside info, State Penn making a serious run at DeBoer and he is more than listening.
I think we'll be lucky to lose 3 guys from the current roster and it'll likely be 4. But I also didn't think Payne would be on the team this season so who knows. The way the II guys were discussing the topic, it seems they already have a back in mind to come in next season.
At least 1 but I would be stunned if he is on the roster next season.
My opinion is that the roster and schedule next season means ND really needs to go big game hunting in the portal. Will have a championship level roster with a QB who could be a top 10 pick. That doesn't happen often, need...
This dude and his brother will be Irish (IMO). Todd Lyght is his DC.
2027 and 2028 Dline class could be absolutely insane. Dawson brothers, Vaughn, Parks, Robertson, Williams from Cali. All guys ND is in top group for already
Concussion, I would assume he's good after the bye. Have to think it'll be Absher though. Gotta give the dude a chance at starting if hes the next man in at C, G and T.
Maybe this is wishful thinking, but I also don't really think he will leave for the first NFL job that comes calling. Would probably need to be a good situation with pieces already in place. Don't know if I'd put a lot of the NFL jobs over the ND job at this point in time.
Sounds like there is a debate whether they want him to commit now or wait until he gets through more visits. Definitely seems like this one will break for the good guys, either immediately or within a few months. Only 14 months until he signs lol
Christian Gray probably isn't what I hoped he would be when he was recruited years ago, but he's certainly not a bad college corner by any stretch of the imagination. When you're on the other side of the field of Moore, targets gotta go somewhere. He is definitely too handsy (aren't we all?)...
