I just think it's a bit unrealistic to expect upperclassmen to want to stay to be depth pieces if they have NFL aspirations.
As far as DL development goes, the fact that Burnham went from a OLB to serviceable 2 down DE is pretty impressive.

If he wants to come sit behind Carr and compete with Teddy and Grubbs I would absolutely do it. Feels like they wouldn't have had Teddy reclass if this was possible though, but what do I know.
Saw a blurb about Jamier Brown from Wiltfong and Singer, he is "seeing the process out", ND still pushing hard. Singer also just tweeted a quote about Julius Jones, ND in a good spot there per Singer. Sorry can't link the tweets at the moment
Jan 2 is the first day that they can officially enter the portal. At this point they're "verbally committing " to entering the portal once it opens. I would say they are filing pre-paperwork but I believe it's obviously all virtual.

Would be sorry to see him go, but you can't overpay/promise PT that will have to go to more talented players. His experience is invaluable but what are we gonna do, chain him up in the bottom of a well?
