I disagree. 25 is a big load and ND has a stable of backs to choose from besides him. I'm thinking 15 touches in the backfield along with using him as a slot receiver several times per game.
Yeah, I think that we were sold a bill of goods on Rendell. Very underwhelming thus far! Averaging only 39.1 yds per punt and 37 yds net (minus the return yards). Definitely can't flip the field with him punting!
Ditto! Though I'll always remain true Irish, the anxiety level has superseded the enthusiasm level after last week's shit show! Damn, I hate that feeling of a possible redux of 2022 year (Marshall and Stanford)!!!
I've been to Purdue games many times. Back when it was alternating seasons @ PU and the next year @ ND schedule. A group of us would come up every year ..... a PU grad would get tickets. One year it was ND @ Purdue. The next year the game was @ ND, so we substituted by going to the IU...
Yeah, after 2 games, a MAJOR disappointment! Someone was reporting some "whoppers" talking about him booming the ball for distance and a significant amount of hang time .... geesh!
Not sure. I think the track coach took him out of the stadium for more hurdle practice. That run and the 1st TD drive was only thing that us Irish fans could ENJOY the whole game! I'm just thankful that I didn't buy tickets to be at the game! 2 Ints.; 2 blocked FG; outgained in total yardage...
