Agreed, and the answer is YES. There is no longer a situation where you can’t tell the NCAA to kick rocks- either as a team or an athlete. Every situation is now “if you want to try you better lawyer up!”
Step 1- Have a shirt made with the final stretch for a TD on it.
Step 2- Get it signed by Jeremiyah Love.
Step 3- Put it in a display case, hang it in my basement, and tell everyone that steps foot in my basement the story of Jeremiyah Love’s famous TD til the end of time.
I think the recipe to win is for our defense to flat out overwhelm their offense early and often. It will take tremendous effort and attention to detail by all 11 on most plays along with an offense that stays on the field and finishes drives.
I think this defense is built to win any game they...
Yeaaaa this was the game I watched. I’ve seen some, umm, overly positive spin on Baker’s ability the last couple of days. Unless the next week is when things finally click for him, be prepared for multiple sacks allowed from him.
There is no way Baker is the answer. Barely even a body to get in the way out there. To say he improved throughout the game is just admitting to such an unbelievably low standard it’s insane. I know “trust the coaches” and all, but mannnnn was he looking like a slow, confused player out there...
Love having JT on the team. I don’t know much about his behavior off of the field, but on the field he is absolutely a net positive and capable of helping us win. The fact that they’ve trusted him to on end-arounds in short yardage situations tells me a little about what the coaches think of him.
Second time seeing this suggestion and it seems odd. It should be all about the matchup, not completely irrelevant factors. Does Louisville winning their bowl game by 1 swing the odds of us beating Georgia in our favor.
I don’t buy it. This is major CFB. The top teams don’t just overlook opponents and not show up for one of their games. Just think of what would have happened if ND were to have just not shown up to play one of…..
Yeah, you might be onto something.
We need depth and I trust that the coaching staff wouldn’t be bringing in a transfer that will create issues in the locker room.
My only concern here is we’re only bringing in 5-7 guys supposedly and we’re supposed to be excited about the SEC players transferring in, he isn’t exactly the player...
In watching IU a few times this year I agree with Sarratt. Right before Freeman met with Cigaretti at midfield he had a short discussion with Sarratt. Kinda hope it was tampering
He also had a couple of read-options that he clearly should have held onto, and a 3rd down where he threw to Evans or Collin’s and he had a lot of open field. Not to say he doesn’t miss a read here and there but maybe they were intentionally holding back his ability to take off.
I’m not here to downplay how exceptional of a player and athlete Love is, but ND fans are getting spoiled at what we’ve been witnessing lately at the RB position. Kyren Williams to Audric Estime to Jeremiyah Love (with Price as a backup).
