'24 TX CB Leonard Moore (Notre Dame Signee)

So easy that one would think the recruiting sites would've seen it and gave him a better than a 3 Star with a 42 CB ranking. Even with most schools that offered the interest was mostly cursory.

'23 KS RB Dylan Edwards (Colorado Verbal)

ND didn't recruit him to be a RB. They saw him as a dynamic athlete who was to small to be a RB at the college level that was going to play slot and move around a bit to get him the ball in space.

'24 MA OT Guerby Lambert (Notre Dame Signee)

If Lambert takes over RG and thrives this season I don't see them switching him back to RT. If this happens then IMO the near future OL will have Jagusah at RT and Absher at LG.

I'm just pointing out that as he put it "Born and raised in Indy" So it might be slightly more realistic.

I have no faith in getting elite Chicago area talent, sure ND gets some but the majority you think with Freeman & Co. should be landing aren't choosing ND.

    2025 Fall Practice Thread

My bad for not explaining myself better in the other post. Hobbs at Boundary is only going to happen if it's a catastrophic injury and he becomes the starter. Best guess is Cree Thomas is the guy that spells Moore at Boundary. Any long term injury at either Field or Nickel and its Hobbs job...

    2025 Fall Practice Thread

Thomas - Boundary, Zachary - Field, Golden - Nickelback Hobbs is CB #3 and will be the backup for sure for Field & Nickel and best guess at Boundary as well.

'25 NJ RB Nolan James (Notre Dame Signee)

Indeed but it's going to get even more insane Coach Ja'Juan Seider is looking to one up his '26 RB class in '27.

IMO the potential flips are going to be DL, Vallejo, Dre Quinn and the Simote Katoanga types.

As in someone flipping the switch to the electric chair.

    Who's Next? - 2026 Edition

The only chance ND has with Dia Bell is if Texas gets the Death Penalty.

    Who's Next? - 2026 Edition

I predicted that both would end up 5 stars but it was McKeogh that would get there later by jumping up in fairly big chunks in every update. OL recruiting isn't sexy but O'Brien game has flash as does the position and you can get more clicks with him moving up in future rankings.

'26 TX WR Brayden Robinson (Notre Dame Verbal)

His height is not an issue IMO, hell if Tyreek Hill at 5'8 can make it as big as he has in the NFL then Robinson should be fine in college with his speed and quickness.

'26 IA TE Evan Jacobson (Offer)

Exactly. I'm a fan of Larsen but he's on the short side for a TE. Maybe he's a legit 6'3 now but even then it's only height it's all about length these days. That 250 lbs is new to him, can he move the same as before or is he slower? The point I was trying to make and that you pointed out that...

'26 IA TE Evan Jacobson (Offer)

Larson could be very good but he's one that needs to be catered to. Doesn't have the size of the traditional TE nor the speed of the modern MOVE TE. However what he has is pretty good quickness to go with Elite hands and route running. Ideally IMO he would be pass catching FB if teams actually...

I think he really liked ND as well as the idea of going to ND but just couldn't pull the trigger to go that far away from home.

'27 AL LB Ellis Mcgaskin (Offer)

Exactly to him it's a 1pm announcement it was and still is just not thinking many hear times for such things and just think EST.

Caldwell really liked ND but he also liked tOSU and the fact that they are the Champs as well as employ his uncle also had to help.
