Watched the first of the two episodes. Sick AF. I guess I never realized how far that sick mother fucker went to play this out. Very interesting and I'm glad they did it. But, could also do without the clear sympathy towards the Tuiasosopo's "situation". Bringing his little sister into...

'21 NJ RB Audric Estime (Notre Dame Signee)

At first I thought Estime would have the C'Bo role this season which is still a healthy dose of PT and carries for a sophomore. But, I'm becoming increasingly convinced it's going to be more than that. Call it a C'Bo 2.0 role, if you will

'20 NE WR Xavier Watts (Notre Dame Man)

To be fair, isn't there a difference between Kyle Hamilton, first round draft pick, and 20-30 other S's that are drafted every year? I mean, I think it's very likely that we have some NFL S's on this roster but those might be 5th and 6th round NFL picks in 2-3 years.

    2022 Fall Camp Thread

Before Spring ball Freeman gave him the choice and he chose staying at S. Maybe that changed with the WR depth chart or maybe they just chose for him now.

'20 NE WR Xavier Watts (Notre Dame Man)

Hopefully he gets a legitimate shot at PT. Otherwise, put me in the camp that thinks this sucks big time for the young man. We had time to go after 2022 WR's at the end of last cycle. We were told transfers were the route to go. We didn't sign any transfers and were told we have the guys...

'23 MO RB Jeremiyah Love (Notre Dame Signee)

My heart skips a beat thinking about M'Pemba being in the class. If it's a draft, I'm ready to pick, and both are still on the board. It's a toss up for me. I think M'Pemba might be the best player in the class and same goes for Keeley.

Yea, this sure would be huge. I'm all about that speed. Getting 4 guys in the class that I'd categorize as elite speed in Edwards, Minich, Love, and Bell is quite something.

'21 CA QB Tyler Buchner (ND FB -> Bama FB -> ND LAX???)

Haha, the photo graphic memory comment came from Rees after he signed with ND. Take it up with him. He thought it was important but I guess OMM cringes, lol. For a young QB learning a college offense over 1.5 years, having that type of recall is a huge benefit. Saying otherwise is laughable...

'21 CA QB Tyler Buchner (ND FB -> Bama FB -> ND LAX???)

So much of being a QB is processing information quickly and making the right decisions. I love what Lenzy had to say in that piece. It was said at one point that Buch has a photo graphic memory. When he talks I think you can see that genius in him. And, he's a very gifted athlete. I'm...

'23 FL DE Keon Keeley (Prodigal Son)

Like I said, nuance is needed but if we’re being honest, it hasn’t been the hard to spot. Do we really have to go into the differences between CJ Williams and Amorion Walker versus Jaylon Sneed? Or, Keon Keeley versus Traore? Keon has been showing up on OSU flip articles for months. He’s...

'23 FL DE Keon Keeley (Prodigal Son)

It's one extra scholarship. Two if you include another S for Bowen. Then Keeley and Bowen become the BPA's that you take regardless. Not that hard to get done. The difference is signing 5 DE's over 2 cycles versus 4. In the case of S, we literally signed 1 last cycle and have 3 this cycle...

'23 FL DE Keon Keeley (Prodigal Son)

As far as what I want to see or to the first bolded. I don't think it requires stringing guys a long at all. I'm offering guys, recruiting them, and taking commitments from dudes that can play when their decisions come up. Doing so up to a larger number per position group if I feel that some...

'23 FL DE Keon Keeley (Prodigal Son)

Yea, so we would have had to recruit 10 more prospects to ensure we don't have roster gaps due to late defections. Sign me up. Seems incredibly reasonable. Now, I think there is still a big difference and nuance needed between Flanagan and Keeley. Moore and Flanagan. Traore and Keeley...

'23 FL DE Keon Keeley (Prodigal Son)

I certainly don't have that expectation. There is a huge difference between Adon Shuler and Keon Keeley. Both have Bama offers. One has been flirting with them for months and one hasn't. Seems like we could take reasonable, albeit different, approaches to those recruitments.

'23 FL DE Keon Keeley (Prodigal Son)

He'd been looking into visiting OSU since December of last year. He eventually did visit OSU in March. Also took another unofficial to UF in March as well. So, up to this point, he's taken a minimum (I could be missing some) of 4 visits since being committed. That's a lot of visits for a...

And that is why my main takeaway from all of this is I do not like this recruiting strategy. If a prospect is looking so are we. I know Freeman is trying to be the cool, "players" coach but this is the downside. If months ago, Freeman had the conversation with Keon that it's either all in or...

Per Loy, they reached out, he said wasn’t interested, and he was sticking with LSU. Should’ve reached out much earlier.
