'20 CT QB Drew Pyne (ND->ASU->MO->BGSU Transfer)

I actually agree but don’t want to express my true feelings because I’m afraid Reeper will track me down and kill me.

'20 CT QB Drew Pyne (ND->ASU->MO->BGSU Transfer)

This is just par for the course at the qb position. Kids move high schools so they can play. The amount of time, effort, and money that these families put in is enormous. Pyne always seemed a little delusional to me in a good way. His irrational confidence actually helped him on the field...

'20 CT QB Drew Pyne (ND->ASU->MO->BGSU Transfer)

I’d be surprised if Drew is starting for a Power5 team next year. Would be ironic if he ends up being the best of our recent transfers (Golson, Zaire, Wimbush, etc…)

ND's Talking Heads ... The good, bad & ugly

This is an inevitability if you want to compete in major college football. I’m good with the players being able to transfer and to make money but with that comes a more “pro” approach to roster management. You’re basically on one year contracts/scholarships. Notre Dame has to take this...

    2023 Transfer QB

I watched the video of every throw he made in 2021. Thought he looked pretty good. Also seemed to be passing a lot out of 3rd and long. I’m assuming Texas couldn’t run the ball that year. I’ll watch this one in a bit.

    2023 Transfer QB

I can agree with that perspective. Whatever it takes to win.

    2023 Transfer QB

is this just for the QB position or would you feel the same if Liufau was replaced by one of the younger linebackers? Not trying to argumentative, just curious on your perspective, even if I don’t currently agree.

    2023 Transfer QB

Oh, I don’t think it will happen. I would just like to see it to get a glimpse of those guys. I’ve seen enough Pyne this year to know what we have with him. I hope we see a lot of the other younger guys as well. Edit: Your post got me thinking. Why would it be a kick in the balls for Pyne? Is...

I’d like to see him and Angeli split the game.

Probably right. I do think this England group could make a run. I’m sure they’ll choke like always.

Definitely feels like this tournament is wide open. Could this be the year England actually wins something?

So, we’re just 4 games a way from winning the whole thing.

    Coaching Carousel

Herman is interesting. Had a lot of success as an OC and at Houston. His tenure at Texas looks better every year. Took over for Charlie Strong’s disaster and improved the program. Led them to their only 10 win season since 2009 plus a Sugar bowl over Georgia. I’d say more success than Kiffin had...

Wow, that’s a lot of douche bag coverage on that list.

My wife is from Germany and did part of her schooling at Alabama. She takes it personally when I openly root against both. I try to tell her that it’s not personal and I’ve rooted against Bama since I was a kid and Germany started 2 world wars so I can’t get behind them. Women think everything...

He’s from the MAC so he must be worse than Pyne. So I’m told anyway.

    College Football Playoff Expansion?

The problem I have with the current system is it benefits teams like Michigan or TCU who literally schedule nobody for their OOC games. What would Clemson’s ranking be if instead of losing to ND they played Connecticut? They’d be a 11-1 with a one point loss to a good South Carolina (also OOC)...
