    Career Change Advice

I remember making this post. It came during a time in which I was recovering from a spinal fusion surgery and got to be at home with my kids quite a bit. It's been three and a half years since then and the only move I've made towards this goal is getting my real estate license. I still work in...

    Movies you just saw

Can confirm, TG Maverick is amazing. Definitely see it on the big screen.

    Another Shooting

Agree with the premise but I think both topics can be front and center. Had the database been up-to-date, I don't believe this kid would've passed a background check in the first place. He's had multiple run-ins with police along with multiple other Red Flag warnings that should've been...

    Another Shooting

The database for these background checks is almost always not fully up-to-date, which is a massive problem. This shooter passed his background check...but should he have? We need to address that. I think a waiting period for sufficient (and up-to-date) background checks while a first time...

'23 MI QB Dante Moore (Greek Spaghetti Transfer)

I was just clarifying his point on the II podcast, which was all of the schools (outside of the Midwest) are NIL-heavy-hitters. They specifically mentioned some recruiting analysts feel this kid isn't leaving the Midwest. But he's checking out options beyond the Midwest, potentially for NIL...

    Another Shooting

I did make the assumption that it's unsecure when you said it's under your bed. I have plenty of friends and family members who keep firearms in drawers, under mattresses, etc...all of which are fully loaded and unsecured. My apologies for jumping to conclusions.

UM is the hometown school, no? NIL has less to do with local Midwest schools. It has potentially everything to do with the distant schools (Oregon, A&M, Miami, LSU). That was the gist of the question/podcast discussion from what I gathered. When the staff starts sending out offers to other...

    Another Shooting

Gun owner and 2A supporter here, and I find this wildly irresponsible. Respectively, I'm not making a suggestion towards yours or your kids' welfare or mental health or that they'll one day be a school shooter. What I'd like to say is that this is a common theme with school shooters: Parents...

    Another Shooting

More details will inevitably come out about this situation and it'd be wise for us all to consider the facts as they come. Typically, when these situations occur, emotions are running high and the same comments get regurgitated from their respective sides. Often times what we find is that...

'23 MI QB Dante Moore (Greek Spaghetti Transfer)

You're absolutely right that he could bust. But how many stud QB recruits has ND landed over the last 10 years? To beat the best, you have to recruit the hell out of these top QBs and hope that they pan out. ND's track record of hitting on the QB position has been terrible in terms of 5* QBs...

'23 MI QB Dante Moore (Greek Spaghetti Transfer)

I'm trying very hard not to get wrapped up in recruiting again. Having my mental health be decided by the decisions of 17-18 year old kids unnerved me. BUT....I have to admit I'm digging what this staff is doing. It's fun to superficially follow what's happening. It appears the Beat feels...

'20 CT QB Drew Pyne (ND->ASU->MO->BGSU Transfer)

Been reported that Pyne has thrown a ton of INTs throughout spring camp. It also got reported last year that Pyne can't read defenses well. That video clip shouldn't suprise anyone. This isn't a QB battle. It's Buchner 100% and Pyne is gonna be a backup.

    Everything Golf

TW is the reason I started playing golf. He's the reason why I obsess over every tournament he chooses to play. The Masters is my favorite sporting event (overall) and when TW is playing, I'm at a Level 10 with excitement. I can totally see why those who aren't fans get sick with the constant...

Can confirm the Chicken biscuit sandwich and BBQ sandwich are crazy good. I don't like pimento cheese but I did try one. Can't go wrong with those beer prices (keep the cups for cheap souvenirs). The Peach Ice Cream Sandwich is amazing too.

    Everything Golf

Completely agree! I love following golf, but I'm not glued to my tv for a week straight like I am the week of The Masters. There's just something about it. I had the privilege of attending the practice rounds in 2018. It's everything they say it is and more. I highly recommend any golf fan...

Tiger Woods is back ya'll!! And at The Masters of all places. Amazing to see him back out there, regardless of his tournament result this week. Soak it in. I'm not sure how many events will get out of him this year. Selfishly, it won't be enough. 11am presser scheduled

Thanks. Over the weekend, I spent some time looking into it and came to the same conclusion. Unfortunately, our basement is unfinished and currently only has two outlets, the only free one being the 15amp. It's definitely something we need to address when the time comes to finish the basement.

I still can't believe the tripped GFCI in the garage was because of a random outlet in our basement. Seems so illogical to load those together. At least the issue is solved. But now I need to see who can repair or haul away a giant old treadmill. Sigh. Homeownership....always something.

Outlet in basement is a regular outlet that has a treadmill plugged into it. Usually it handles the pull just fine. The one in the garage doesn't regularly trip. What happened is that last weekend my power washer just quit working in the middle of using it. When I investigated, I found the...

Plan on replacing my garage GFCI outlet this weekend but before I do, I have a question for anyone with electrical background: I have two outlets in the garage, one of which is the GFCI, and it's currently tripped with a solid red light. What's odd, is in my checking of load outlets, I found...
