I got an update last night that said John Terry will be told he is done at Chelsea after this season in the coming days. Hopefully for Miazga that's good news.

Like you said neutral? It would be such a headache that it wouldn't be the answer. I just know we here in the States like having a clear cut winner of a "series." I don't see how it could be remedied other than like you said, normal extra time and then PKs or Golden Goal.

A third game would make most sense in our American minds, but with how many games these teams play all season long adding another game for cup ties just really puts a strain on the players.

I have heard one of the reasons being park the bus. But I also heard some commentator, I wish I could remember who, that said many teams are now parking the bus at home now. It's just flipped the script.

I have been following soccer since the 2010 World Cup. Really started getting into club soccer the following year, and I still can't decide what to make of the away goal rule... What do others think of it?

I imagine a lot of bookies were on suicide watch last night.... Also imagine if you decided to make some throwaway bet for $50 on LCFC??? Insane.

It really is. Didn't ESPN do an E:60 or something on it? I watched that and was just amazed at the entire event.

Absolutely. Beating Sweden is a must. From there, getting at least a draw out of Italy or Belgium could be enough to advance.

You might see Vermaelen go forward, but you're right the full backs wouldn't really pack a true offensive/counter threat. As you mentioned, they don't really need it though. That Group E with Belgium, Italy, Ireland, and Sweden should be fun. Going to be a tough group. Would love to see the...

Do they try to use Vermaelen at LB again like they have in the past?

I had the game on when it was halftime of the Arsenal game. He was very dangerous right away. The stage did not seem to bother him at all. Very promising for the future. Also did you see that own goal that was waved off on Dortmund?! Very lucky.

I was just amazed that Per would do that. He's considered the cool customer between himself and Kos. Would have thought he would try to just "run with him" and look to clear a miss/deflection. (I say that in quotes since we know Per isn't very mobile)

I watched a Vine that had multiple angles, including a close up from the sidelines that looks as though Per missed him completely. I agree, don't make that attempt when you know it's a straight red in that type of situation. Given the fact that Arsenal put a lot of pressure on Chelsea late in...

I watched the replay over and over, it looks like Per doesn't touch Costa. Anyone else see this?

Really excited to see how Elneny adjusts to English soccer with Arsenal. Sorely needed with Coquelin out.

Now they'll win the league. Can anyone imagine if somehow they were relegated. How much schadenfreude would there be?

Arsenal with the 2-0 victory today. Should have been more. Great possession all game.

He could really be an x factor for the team if he stays healthy.
