I agree. This is the year that lines up best for Arsenal against Bayern. Plus it's the finally 16. Not like there's really easy matchups. Mustafi being out will be tough. Gabriel seems to be playing better. Maybe that stint at RB has helped him.

Finally, after 6 years of finding ways to bungle finishing 1st in the group, Arsenal wins it. Just like Arsenal to do it the year Bayern finishes second, and OF COURSE we draw them...

Agreed. Playing FIFA in college with my buddies really got me hooked. Plus the World Cup helped. Found out about Arsenal playing FIFA. My friends would use Man U and Chelsea, so I wanted to find another team in England that was relatively equal in ratings.

Bellerin signed an extension with Arsenal today. Really glad to have him locked up at RB for the foreseeable future.

Watching it in slow motion made my jaw drop. And Arsenal need to pay him like one.

Thought Arsenal was starting off November in typical Gunner fashion as they went down 0-2 to Ludogorets. Somehow managed a way to win the game and stay int he race to win the group.

    Website Problems + Updates

Disclaimer Disclaimer I just read the copyright at the bottom of the website and figure it could be revised. It still includes the Big East instead of the ACC. Minor I know, but I figured I'd bring it to the attention of others on the board.

All of this I agree with. The top to bottom quality is there. You don't see Barca or Real Madrid play to too many 0-0 draws with a relegation contender do you? Also it's really great that, as mentioned, I can read stories right from the source without a language barrier. NBC has done a...

It was absolutely classic Arsenal. Still kept the run of unbeaten going, and we've only lost once (horrible season opener to Pool) dating back I think 7 months. This will absolutely be a tight race going all the way to May. Should make for an exciting seaon in the BPL.

Very disappointed with the Arsenal draw against Boro this weekend. These are the games, time and again, that the Gunners just find a way to only get a point. Lucky to get that point in the end, but it's a game like this where Arsenal only tie that haunts them come April and May.

This game just reaffirms my belief that the 2 yellow cards in a tournament rule is so fucking stupid.

Agreed. Apparently Wenger wants to give him some first team looks this summer, so we'll have to see what happens. I would hope if he is only a fringe 1st teamer, he gets loaned again.

Yeah, hopefully (for their sake) they don't spend like crazy and take a few years to get solid footing. I believe it was originally only a half season loan. He got extended for the full season. Should be interesting to see what Arsenal decides to do with him. Zalalem is still only 19, so they...

ACamp, how do you think Rangers will perform this year finally moving back up to the Premiership?

What an unexpected surprise, considering where they were a month ago. Happy St. Totteringham's Day indeed. As some sports writer said yesterday, "Only Spurs could finish 3rd in a two horse race."

Oh no doubt about it. However the counter argument, at least in football here, is that there is no national team that you need to "audition" for during the regular season. I'm not necessarily in favor of the salary cap, though I do think it's something that would be hard to get rid of now.

Tell that to Leicester City... I do agree. Look at Vermaelen. Captain at Arsenal, (almost) everyday starter. Leaves because he is getting sick of finishing without a trophy (and seeing Kos take his time), to go to Barca. In his two years there he has played in a total of 11 game. 11! Since...
