I felt it was generally accepted that ND was holding on Prescod until they got Lambert and Brix to campus which is why Prescod held off on committing and took those visits. Now that ND has “passed” on Brix, this feels like a formality. When not if. I’ll bet that when is soon.

It'll be interesting to see if/how Carter and to some degree Talich's commitments change the math at S for this cycle. Carter has two years and they plan to compare Talich to other S's this cycle. Likely needing to get him on campus first to do so. I agree that Urlacher shouldn't be counted...

As of last Friday, per ISD, Lambert and Brix were both still being recruited but unlikely to land at ND. Tuesday morning comes, Brix looks unlikely, and it's because they "passed" on him. Lol.

Ramon Henderson had one of the best individual plays we’ve seen from a S in the last decade and that includes all of Kyle Hamilton’s game changers. You don’t give up on guys that can make plays like that. Even if they never develop into full time guys.

6’3 and 10.72 100’s are normally things that get people excited, we’ll see. I will say that Carter and Talich’s commitments likely change the math at S to some degree.

While I think Gallegos may have limited upside he’s also shown a propensity for playing Cover 1 deep middle which is the real need at S, IMO. Obviously with Johnson we’d hopefully develop that to the point where he’s a legitimate NFL prospect. But, Gallegos has the know how to do so right now...

And, with a lot more time to prepare. Or sluff off, depending on how you think of it. Hillman had a semester, maybe a little more. Johnson will have what? 4 or 5 semesters, from the time he popped on ND's radar to when he graduates. First thing I thought of was maybe a summer school/class...
