Correct. Especially at positions such as OL and DL. Freshmen should ONLY play because they're instant impact players. Not because they "have to" due to lack of depth/talent.

I think you need to over-recruit the position regardless. LB requires a unique combination of size, athleticism, instincts, knowledge, and leadership. Too many times ND lands guys who have just some of these traits: Great player, terrible athlete. Great athlete, terrible instincts. Etc.
