I think he's proven what he can do. Pyne needs to know he's needed. I'm not saying Buchner shouldn't play some; Pyne needs to know he's needed for next year.

As an 'OLD' place kicker and Soccer player... they have played very similar in their careers at ND.... didn't mean anything negative about the post....

IF - the Irish get a TD or 10 before the half.... and the tree/shaw is blanked... I would really like to see Pyne get some reps.

Understandable and agreeable brother - but the O-Line is beat up... yes, Rees should adjust a bit but, teams the Irish have played recognize the 'weakness' in injury and have taken advantage of it - point well taken

Holtz would also have the field aerated before a game too. Jim Strong would have the running backs run in sand during the off-season.

Holtz used to do the same thing when playing teams that had quick players. Wouldn't have the grass cut before the game. Not a bad strategy honestly.
