Sept 9 | North Carolina State

ND finally having a screen game with ELITE running backs in space and a QB with an eye for reading the blitz will help keep NCST honest, imo.

The play is ND ML. You think it's hard to see ND getting less than 30? but NCST in the 17-24 range? I actually feel ND could be just under 30 but also don't see NCST putting up more than 17. ND by 10 but I'm not comfortable enough with that call to put money on the spread.

Sept 9 | North Carolina State

I tried mentioning something similar in the post game thread regarding pass rush not getting home (and how it would relate to playing C. Williams and USC). I'm not as worried with this game as NCST's offense is garbage and this will be ND's second week playing in their "base" defense (Navy...

I think it's still too early to tell. The models I've seen are forecasting a northward curve, but how far west it makes it is still TBD. I'm not a weather forecaster, but the guy I follow in Florida is usually dead on w/ his tropical storm tracking.

    TSU Post Game Thoughts

That’s fair. Although a couple counter points: Utah sacked Williams 11 times in the two games they played. And it’s safe to say that USC’s rush defense lost them that Tulane game, as Tulane’s RB ran all over them. I’m not saying ND will lose if they don’t sack him. I’m just saying that while...

    TSU Post Game Thoughts

Yea, I'm specifically using this past weekend as a thought exercise as to what Caleb Williams will do to ND if he's not actually sacked...We watched it happen last year. His escapability and play-making abilities are insanely good. ND can't have their pass rush settle for QB hurries, and I'm...

    TSU Post Game Thoughts

Point was more directed at USC regarding the lack of sacks. 11 QB hurries against USC obviously won't yield the same outcomes. Need to get the QB to the ground more often, imo.

    TSU Post Game Thoughts

Did ND really only register one sack on Saturday? Golden sending all out blitzes every single play in the first half, only for no one to get to the QB, gave me extreme anxiety for USC.

    Nov 4 | Clemson

I'm talking about Duke. Clemson is far more talented than Duke. Per 247 2020: Clemson #3, Duke #62 2021: Clemson #5, Duke #57 2022: Clemson #10, Duke #51 2023: Clemson #11, Duke #56 Yet Duke still beat them....and Prister has been talking about how Duke will not be a cake walk on the...

Umm...yea. On paper, Clemson is FAR more talented than Duke. Why is that even in question?

    Nov 4 | Clemson

Seems Prister is validated over his concerns with the Blue Devils this season. On the road, one game after OSU matchup.....and Duke is apparently good enough to whoop a team far more talented than they are.

Not sure I follow... My bottom line point is that I don't have a clue what it is or where it's from. My hypothetical paragraph was simply making a point that if present day humans (Governments) were in possession of this technology, I'm not so sure the status quo would just continue on as is...

    Sept 23 | Ohio State

I'd prefer not to see UM in the playoffs three years in a row because they keep beating up on a weak B1G conference.

    Sept 23 | Ohio State

I hope ND beats the brakes off of OSU and then somehow, magically, OSU gets pissed and rolls Michigan. I seriously can't stand the attention Michigan is getting. Good team, yes. Trash schedule. And of all the years for UM to be this good....when Georgia is reloading and Bama seems like they...

    UFOs, Paranormal, Pseudoscience Thread

Always interesting to read the pushback on this topic. Usually devolves into, "Show me the little green man with a probe or else." Those views always willfully neglect actual data and evidence that proves UAPs are real, we just don't know WTF they are or who's behind the technology...

Gerad Parker - Troy Head Coach :)

100% agree. I said this exact same thing just yesterday. I think Tommy will be a great coach in the NFL someday. But in college, I feel it's more about getting the best athletes to execute easier game plans and let them play fast and confident. Coach Golden essentially threw too much NFL...

    Aug 26 | Navy

Shrader's missed FG hurt my 45 point prediction for the good guys. I actually expected Navy to score one TD. The defense was better than I thought (and I assumed they'd look great to begin with). They too missed a FG. Good ND teams take care of business against Navy. This bodes well for the...
