I actually used to write him off as well, until I started actually listening to him speak a couple years ago. A lot of what he talks about are things that I've heard plenty of progressives speak of back in the day. A perfect example is his support for Michelle Obama's school lunch program...

He gave a rundown of his entire campaign in the beginning of this speech. I can't rewind to verify exact dates, etc. 2023 was last year, btw. Lol. But in all seriousness, I think he switched to IND because he got blocked by the DNC to be a serious primary challenger to Biden.

Kennedy is staying on ballots in Red/Blue states, but pulling his name in battleground swing states. I haven't heard him endorse Trump, but he just flat out said, he's doing it to oppose the Dems/Harris. He spent the first 20 minutes of his speech absolutely ripping the DNC and he's still not...

Can you help me out with where exactly they list out this unrealized gains tax specifically? I've seen some websites mention it and then post links to sources, but when you click on the source link and do a search, there's no mention of it specifically. Highly possible that I'm just missing...

I mean, 2020 school shut downs weren't that long ago. Did you already forget that school closings disproportionately affected poor kids and getting these breakfasts you speak of? Who's cities closed schools for the longest? Just asking.

This is kind of why I'm not getting super excited. I'll enjoy watching the Bears more this year than in years passed, no doubt. But knowing how much better the Lions are right now, plus the Packers seemingly always being one step ahead of the Bears, it's just hard to not live in the reality...

Minnesota has been mess for years. Correct me if I'm wrong, LAX (I think it was you anyways)....but I recall someone posting a lot of articles on here regarding the absolute disaster the sanctuary cities were causing in cities across the country, notably in MN.

Not an economist, but if both sides continue to just throw printed money at problems, instead of actually fix the root causes, we are so fucked as a country.
