Again, th is happens to teams playing FCS teams all the time. Relax my guy.

But it is. I get what you’re saying, they had a punt return in there. Fumble recoveries, etc. games are shorter. Without the stoppage it shortens the game.

This is my biggest take away so far. It isn’t uncommon for an FCS team to have a good first drive or two, but then the FBS team really imposes its will as the game goes on. You end up seeing the game be 57-10 or less. With the new clock rules, it favors the FCS team to stay around “longer”...
