'18 SC QB Sam Hartman (Notre Dame Transfer)

One question, one statement. So, is this confirmation that NIL was a part of the UA deal? Obvious and significant example of ND using NIL to benefit the football program.

'17 PA DT Kurt Hinish (Notre Dame Signee)

Watching the Texans/Dolphins preseason game and they gave a shout out to Kurt. I knew he played last year, didn’t realize how much. He makes the 53 man again, he’ll be looking at $1.6M in career earnings so far. Nice work, Kurt!

'20 CT QB Drew Pyne (ND->ASU->MO->BGSU Transfer)

What's interesting about this, as others have noted, BK and Saban don't think so. Sam Hartman and CJ Carr don't. So, while I agree there isn't a lot of obvious or tangible evidence we can look at to disprove this. People that matter clearly disagree.

    2023 Fall Camp

Just to be clear, I don’t think it’s an automatic loss, in fact, I like our chances in every single game this season. I said, “most worried” not we’ll certainly lose. And, USC is not the best team but it has the best player. In fact, it has arguably the best player in college football. A...

    2023 Fall Camp

Most worried about USC, as well. I’d rate them toughest to easiest USC, Clemson, OSU. I think OSU will continue to be very beatable. And, Clemson is a very beatable team but tough environment.

    2023 Fall Camp

This is a good read on the amount of snaps he had to play in 2021 and how it affected his production as the season wore on. https://notredame.rivals.com/news/how-notre-dame-plans-to-manage-its-linebackers-workload-down-the-stretch Crazy to think that he played 81 snaps vs Purdue. And, 513...

    2023 Fall Camp

I think most of the Bertrand hate stems from 2021 when he was required to play way too many snaps. He was improved last year with a more balance snap count. And I bet he’ll be even better this year with the, seemingly, 3 for 2 situation they’ll have at ILB.

    2023 Fall Camp

Haha, he absolutely embarrassed Ben-Mo but I’m sure he gets no credit for that.

    2023 Fall Camp

Better than themselves, last season? I could easily see that being the case and then add in the talented youth of Sneed. Yea, I definitely think people are sleeping in that unit.

I don't know but I did see some posts at 247 like this that illustrates how truly ridiculous some of UM's numbers for this are.

I can only kee My hand was forced to some degree. I can keep 2, plus a 3rd if it's a rookie. So, I had to deal one of the 4. I did the deal before the Taylor/Irsay situation and Cook to NY smoke got started. Felt really good about those 3 at the time, and I still do long term, but I...

    2023 Fall Camp

First year without Elston was difficult for that room sans Foskey. Most of that room did not live up to expectations with Washington in his first season. This wasn't Jayson specific. Looking forward to things being different this season. Also, he dealt with a couple of nagging injuries...

    2023 Fall Camp

I will say that Jayson certainly did not live up to his recruiting rating/ranking. His body just couldn't handle adding the necessary weight and he was plagued by multiple injuries that limited his physical development. However, to say he did not improve from his Sophomore year is pretty...

Good news is I traded Nick Chubb in my keeper league because I had Jonathan Taylor, Breece Hall, and James Cook.

    2023 Fall Camp

Last season Clarence Lewis tied for second on the team with 4 PD’s. He blocked a punt, had an INT, and forced/recovered a fumble. Personally responsible for 3 TO’s. In the bowl game, he had a TFL, PD, and QB Hurry. You have to be a unique kind of special to not think that is very good for a...

'21 CA QB Tyler Buchner (ND FB -> Bama FB -> ND LAX???)

Still crazy that Wimbush had a, I believe, 72-73% HS comp pct and then went on to not be able to throw it competently 5 or 10 yards in college. Wild. I thought he was a future Heisman for sure. Hartman4hesiman ;)

'25 WI TE James Flanigan (Notre Dame Signee)

I like the frame and overall athletic profile. He's well put together for his age which should improve his chances to make an early impact.

    2023 Fall Camp

I think it’s excellent that Hartman was voted a captain. That means his peers view him as such which that leadership will likely be tested and needed throughout the season.

'20 NJ TE Kevin Bauman (Notre Dame Verbal)

With Raridon not 100% yet, TE depth chart all of sudden looks a little scary to start the season. It’s Evans and Staes with Davis Sherwood next man up if something happened to either of them.
