United look like a middle of the table team. I just don't see the talent on the field.

    Who's Next? - 2023 Edition

What if (big hypothetical stretch) Bowen, Keeley, and Hanafin are intentionally flirting with the college football elite just to build more intrigue and momentum for ND when they all eventually end up Irish?

Aaronson has become a must start for club and country imo. I love his game. He may not be the most skilled but makes up for it with very high work rate.

Sorry for Joey. Life is full of many opportunities outside of football. Wish him the best.

I'm sure there are multiple ways of looking at this. Kelly is a true CEO of his football program. How often do you get chatty with your CEO? I'm not saying it's the right way, but it certainly was Kelly's way. It worked for him but I'm definitely on board with Freeman's approach. He's the...

I agree with all of this. I'd add - it's becoming increasingly clear why Kelly left. People can claim Kelly is lots of things but he certainly wasn't shortsighted when it came to self-interest

Tommy lives by the old creed. You offer 1 QB at a time. This is the way.

God, I can't wait for the actual football season to start. Had enough of this recruiting talk.

    1) 1st commitment for the 2023 class. 2) Already visited Bama in the past. 3) Stayed committed through a head coaching change. 4) Seems like a personality fit. I'm still a bit worried but not as much when you consider all of the above.

I wonder if CJ Carr being there killed some of the vibes for Novosad?

In order 1) Michigan - self explanatory 2) Ohio St - I live here now, surrounded by insufferable Buckeye fans 3) USC - self explanatory

Just to play devils advocate, we as ND fans have heard the "dream school" quote on many fruitless occasions, no?

‘23 TX QB Austin Novosad (Oregon Signee)

Fair point. Isn't TAMU in a little different position now though? They no longer have a 2023 QB. If he's now at the top of their board then the feeling of the upcoming visit may be a lot different.

Agree, tough pull. But it all just depends on what the kid wants. Does he want to go local to a big time football school or does he want to carve his own path and go away to a very unique big time football school? Hard to know where his passions lie.
