Drafted him in my IDP league. He was rough for two weeks. Considered benching him. Glad I didn’t.

Which is the whole point. Not that we somehow didn’t run a dude on at the very last second. They had several minutes of real time to figure this out and didn’t. So at the last second we get some BS excuse because we don’t want them to have a free play that they didn’t need.

The extra play? Guess what, if they score there isn’t another play. Which is what happened. The logic doesn’t hold up unless you are here to carry Freeman’s water.

The logic is stupid. He forfeited a foot for an extra player exactly where they scored the TD. Nobody is their right mind would ever do that. They’re trying to save face by making it look like a conscious decision. If it was. It was the dumbest coaching decision of recent memory.

It actually doesn’t make a lick of sense, as far as situational football goes. Because, it didn’t really happen. He didn’t really realize it. Nobody did which is why it happened twice.

His explanation was total BS. Makes no sense when you consider it happened on consecutive plays, after a TO. We are talking about shocking levels of coaching incompetence folks.

This is a good point to bring up. It shouldn’t have even been this close down the stretch. We fuckered important opportunities early to distance ourselves. Then completely botched the end of the game to put it away.

If he knew it and recognized it, they would’ve corrected it on the 2nd play. So many levels of failure for this coaching staff. DL, DC, HC.

Just think about how much time this entire coaching staff had to figure out they had 10 on the field for the first play and couldn’t correct it for the second.
