I think we have a 50%+ chance of winning a natty in the next 5 years if we keep everything together, which I never thought I’d say lol. We truly had the second best team in the country last year (confirmed by the advanced metrics) and are again a top 2-5 power rated team. And team talent is only...
Casual fringe top 100 recruit. Just another day.
Btw his teammate is a stud too - Jimmy Kalis. Offers from pretty much everyone except us.

I hate taking a RB transfer, but we really should go all out in the portal as we’re gonna have seemingly a real chance at a title in 2026. Wild to type lol.
I think Nolan James ends up our #1 back, but we’ll see. Curious to see which freshman ends up with meaningful carries bc they are both too good to sit.
Yeah outside of those 2 plays, he really was fine. We just didnt push the ball down the field due to the rain / unstoppable run game so his stats look shitty.
Can't understate what a win this past weekend + another playoff appearance would do for our continued program momentum. We're at recruiting heights we havent seen in decades. Loss would have crushed that.
Yeah and the Two most predictive so far this year are Sargain and DokterEntropy - who both have us at 3 currently.
Looks like we'd be a couple point dog to our 2024 team at this point FWIW.
Our power rating generally went up after this weekend, but we got jumped on a few sites bc of strong showings against sub-par competition by Oregon and IU. Still top 4 on essentially every rating system, with OSU #1.
Worth noting that USC is power rated around ~10 on most sites. This was a very impressive performance that we probably won’t get enough credit for unless the Trojans somehow beat Oregon in the road. Sucks for us they blew that Illinois game.
