The same amount of film one would watch to reward an IVY league transfer an opportunity to not only see the field but touch the ball in his only year of big time Football I suppose.

Agreed in that context, even though I believe that was more of a Freeman "riverboat gambler" strategy seeing as though he was the lead guy coaching the punt coverage unit as opposed to Biagi. Between those two I would say the guy who has the best ball safety, but are you saying that the only...

They tried Faison back there and he averaged 14.0/per return don't know what Math you were in but I can assure you it's definitely greater than the 6.0 Hurleman averaged, as it should be with a shifty/speedy guy back there. You citing how many returns those teams had makes my case furthermore...

I think your missing the point that he's NOT the best option and had no chance of going to the house at this level. I watched Wake live several times, UAB, Baylor, Stanford and PITT do just fine in the PR dept but the difference is they decided to put legit game breaker back there rather than a...

Every week, coached WRs and STs for Prep and Semi-Pro and played WR and ran back kicks and punts in college. So probably watched enough to make someone's head spin or to make themselves believe that a walk on was the best option to return punts at Notre Dame. Regardless of what other programs...

It was a way to get the Grad transfer on the field and he had experience doing it at Colgate albeit nothing special (26ret. 196yds), seemed to be a sentimental thing for guy. Rudy got a play and he got a season of returning punts.

Got that, me and my brother watched the CA Indoor at Arcadia and Arrington won the 60m (6.67), our recruit Bonner ran a 6.8 those guys were flying, and won the 150m (15.26). I wouldn't think Salmin would be worried about going to a pure T&F school since he see's himself as a Football player who...

Well don't say that because he might be checking to see if Salerno or Finke have another year of eligibility left just to return punts 2-4 yds a pop. It's beyond me year after year that they continue to put someone back there who opposing teams absolutely love kicking too because the opposing...

That was an outdoor time for Arrington which is quite different than indoor, but Carrington is a legit 20.60 guy, don't believe he has participated in indoor track. Salmin ran 21.14 as a 10 grader so I expect he'll be in the 20.8x range this outdoor season.

We seem due for one at this point, they can't all spend their careers transferring between SEC schools. We've been needing the speed on the perimeters to keep up with the big dogs, and landed a couple here and there, now we need to do it in back to back classes.
