'25 NV WR Derek Meadows (Alabama Verbal)

I don’t understand why we continue to argue Kelly Recruiting vs. Freeman recruiting. The nature of recruiting in those times are WORLDS different with the portal and NIL. It’s like comparing apples and spaghetti.

They could, but the days of talented kids sitting and waiting their turn are long gone.

    Your Hometown

Indeed. It has it's moments. No real ties to ND from small town SD other than I know of several people who have attended.

    Your Hometown

My hometown is where this guy died. Might have been one off the founding fathers at ND, I don’t know.

    College Football Video Game '25

I HATE how video games have turned into these revenue machines. I just want to pay the game, not pay for the game, pay fo online, pay for skins, pay content, pay for game modes, pay for this, pay for that, be served ads every other screen. It's obnoxious.

    TRANSFER TIME..start a list

I see your point, but, that was the argument made for Drew Pyne too, and we saw how that turned out. These kids want to play ball. Some may think they have a shot at the pros when they don't. But, being a starting QB at a power 4 school isn't a bad gig for some kids and they might put more...

    What are you watching?

Just finished the season last week. Overall I thought the show was well done. I watch most shows with subtitles these days so it doesn’t bother me all the reading that some complain about. I’ll save my thoughts on the finale as not to spoil anything.

Oh yeah, I completely agree. Lots of talent, just unproven. They may come together and be a strength, who knows. They just have to prove it.

    2024 Spring Practice Thread

Looking at the team, for me, it's the biggest question mark position group we have. It just seems, there are year's where we have 2 or 3 (or more, sadly) position groups that aren't championship caliber. That's not typically the OL. We usually field a solid unit there. The Quinn years and...

    2024 Spring Practice Thread

Isn't it crazy that this year we finally started to line up all the pieces to a complete team, yet, of all the year, our OL is going to be the big concern? Of all the times to have a young, unproven OL, it has to be THIS year. Ugh.

Agreed. This year u could probably still win some games with QB3. Versus not even having one is scary.

    2024 Spring Practice Thread

The big concern I have is say we lose Minchey this spring cuz he has no path to starting. That brings you down to three QBs heading to fall. Then NEXT spring, you lose Leonard AND Angeli, leaving you Carr as the starter and frosh Duece on the roster. I’m not sure how you avoid it. Fortunately...

Especially considering they have a top tier media/production department. Or they have hired one. Their video and graphic work is top notch. The shirt looks like a high school design contest most years.

    What is the "uniform surprise"?

It does matter but it’s not insurmountable. But it’s one more “self imposed restriction “ that ND puts on itself. Nike today is what Adidas was in the early 80s, except MUCH bigger and more popular.

    2024 Spring Practice Thread

It is coaches jobs to win NOW. So whomever the best player is when the season starts will play. Could that change as the season progresses? Absolutely. Coaches don't buy into the philosophy after a few losses of, "let's start to build for next year and play younger guys." It doesn't work like...
