He has a lot to replace this season, I doubt they’ll be as successful. Keep in mind, ND should’ve beat GA the last two times we played. So we are closer than you think.

I’ve been saying this for a hot minute! Hell the last three DC’s have all done more with less in their careers. Imagine where we are headed? The 5 stars will help, but they’re not the end all be all.

Well our current rankings say otherwise. Yep, the big dogs close well. We just need to do the same consistently and we’ll be OK!

T Did you read my post or just see NCAA? The point is that it has to be governed by a set of rules to make all things equal. Obviously the NCAA is not good at much. My suggestion was to either create a new system which governs college football (specifically in regards to the landscape now...

S So serious question, How can the current state of NIL (which is seemingly out of control, and obviously not fair, nor are those with biggest pockets worried about fairness) in collegiate sports be corrected/controlled. I guess that’s more so where my interest lies. It’s clear that the NCAA...

Wait, is that ND’s supposed record? Or the IE record on new members?

If the NFL is the ultimate goal (surprise, surprise), then who better to be coached under than AL Golden? That has got to play in our favor, and by all accounts Al Golden is a top notch person. Coupled with a great education, and a players coach. I think we just let it play out. If we lose out...

This thread is hard to keep up with, it’s like a runaway train at the moment. Does everyone on here work for a living?

If I’m not mistaken I believe Brenan Vernon is also a good friend of KK and may be another reason we end up keeping him. For that matter many of the current commitments are good friends with one another. So aside from the efforts of the staff to keep these kids in the class, their future...

'23 MA WR Ronan Hanafin (Clemson Verbal)

So do we know if Ronan did or didn’t make it to the BBQ? I realize we are or are headed into a dead period but his recruitment has been pretty quiet. I’ll take it as no news is good news

Well I can’t speak for Tuscaloosa, but it’s been exactly that here in the Northwestern part. It is that time of the year!

I posted a video of Caleb Downs a day or so before he committed. In the video when speaking of Notre Dame (if I recall correctly) he mentioned relationships, and coach Freeman, etc. But at the end he said “And they just got their FIRST DB drafted”. That to me says that even though ND is a...

I love KK, I hope he stays in the end, but if he’s not gonna be a part of the class it needs to be sooner than later. Same with anyone else who may be wavering. Still a lot of good players available but it’s getting a little late in the game to try and put things back together.

‘23 TX QB Austin Novosad (Oregon Signee)

Well ND has QB’s in the NFL, just none that are able or willing to reach the top in the NFL. Brady Quinn was an excellent QB for ND that I will always believe would’ve done great things in the NFL had it not been for the Cleveland Browns. You are only as good as those you surround yourselves by...

    2023 QB Cycle Cloudy Board

I was going to mention this, but at times (or every time) as a QB I imagine you have to put a certain “TOUCH” on a ball. As long as he’s accurate, and can make all the throws I’d say leave it be. Everyone has their way of doing things, if it works, leave it be.

    2023 QB Cycle Cloudy Board

I can’t tell a lot of difference between him and Novosad. He is very elusive with some speed, seems to place the ball a little better as well. I’m no expert but can’t see why Novosad is rated so much higher.

'23 TX S Peyton Bowen (Oklahoma Signee ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

Drayk in the first half, Q&A after. Side note, we’re very fortunate to have MF, as already stated, Drayk likely wouldn’t be in our class without him. https://notredame.rivals.com/news/podcast-drayk-bowen-on-eventful-summer-and-recruiting-others-to-notre-dame
