Very, very little. Can you honestly say you feel confident in him leading ND vs Texas A&M week 1 based off the handful of throws he has made as a backup QB in the waning minutes of the blowout games when he just handed off the ball to the backup RBs?
No Im saying that the backups should have been playing a LOT of time in the last six weeks against the cupcake soft competition that ND has been playing. 49-7, 51-14, 31-13, 66-7,28-3 Cmon man the backup QBs should have been in by halftime. Instead, you see RL tossing or running for TDs late...
Next year wont be Weigman. A&Ms QB that rocked LSU wasnt Weigman, but Reed. He was unstoppable vs LSU and I believe you will see A&M take off this year with him in the game now. The guy runs like you wont believe and when the safety's come up to stop his run, he deep throws. Guy is gonna be...
Because next year you are going to be crying in your beer because you have a starting QB with zero game experience lining up week one vs Texas A&M who will have a vast improved QB playing with real game experience
My question is this...how wise is it to play 90% of the snaps with a QB that wont be here next year while next years QBs get zero real game experience? That means next year QB will be a flat out problem starting with no game experience. ND isnt going to progress long in the playoffs even if it...
Is anyone concerned remotely about this game after ND shut down GT so badly? I would think of the two, GT would have the far superior athletes and runs the same option game. If ND could do that to GT, shouldnt it be worse vs Navy?
Look at their wins. All against really bad competition. The record is well above expected but it really isnt telling due to the low level of competition that they have played.
True. Oregon always folded when playing the physical LSU teams of Les Miles. I could see Michigan beating them as well with the physical run game they have. OSU I think isnt physical enough.
Playing Navy and GT will be tough because those guys practice against stopping the run everyday, which is all ND has to offer. If ND doesnt develop some ability to pass, these games will be very tough to overcome.
