    ESPN - Post-Spring Top 25

Michigan, FSU, and Texas all waaaaaaaaaaaay too high. All three massively overrated. Think ND would beat all by double digits.

    Notre Dame Transfer Portal 2022-2023

Yeah, I was just thinking I would prefer someone that is from a smaller school that has outperformed everyone over someone that got beat out for playing time and transferred.

'20 KY TE Michael Mayer (Notre Dame Signee)

The Lions are sooooo stupid. What a horrible draft. This is one of the worst in recent memory. I think Branch was a good pick. I was starting to become a Lions fan too. At least my Bears are building the right way.

'21 LA RB Logan Diggs (Notre Dame --> LSU Transfer)

Eh, most of the people were always higher on him around here than I was. I never said anything because he was one of ours, but I thought he was just OK. I take this transfer as a bit of a shrug. Honestly, losing Tyler hurts more for me. I think there is a bigger dropoff from #1 to #3 in the...

'21 CA QB Tyler Buchner (ND FB -> Bama FB -> ND LAX???)

I am going to predict that he is going to do really well there.

My first thought when I heard he was in the portal was Tamper Tommy.

    USC recruiting and everything else

Just watched their spring game and I don't really see the quick reaction to chalk this up as a loss. I thought OSU looked better, tbh. The USC defense still looks poorly coached, despite all the transfers. I think we win by double digits.

Honestly, to me it seemed like Rocco was the best guard during the game. I didn't really expect that, but he looked good.

He's such a good dude. Wish him nothing but success in all his endeavors.

That stinks. Sounds like he was having a good spring.

We need more practice clips to break down.

    Spring Practice 2023

Carmody is pretty darn talented. Just stuck behind two monsters at tackle. If the goal is to get the best five on the field, it doesn't surprise me that they give him a look at guard. Anyone now how serious his injury was?

Great? I don't think so. Top 10 likely. I just live in UM country and I hate their cocky fans thinking they were better than they were.

Penn State was a good team. Elite? No. If Utah was at full strength that may have been a different game. I think UM is highly overrated. Lost to a TCU team with the #78 D in the country. However, like you said, recruits will see 12-1 and CFP berth. It's disgusting, and will keep on...

I agree with all you said. Especially the Freeman winning part. However, IMO, OSU was the only good team you mentioned in that. Ths others were just byproducts of a crappy schedule. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter how overrated they are, we just need to win.

Very true. Good point. Why wouldn't ND do something like this and have to win one competitive game to go to the playoffs? I would still pay the money to go watch them beat up on East Carolina or IU.

    Spring Practice 2023

Honestly, I skipped most of that debate as I came for spring camp news. All I read in that whole debate was this very last sentence, and duh! Is someone actually debating that Pyne is better than TB12? 😂

The problem is Michigan has been an above average team with a joke of a schedule these last two years so people think they are good. If they start getting some recruits, they may actually start to become good. That can't happen. Too bad their schedule is a joke again in 2023.

    Spring Practice 2023

Oh, for sure. But there are definitely stages of installation. If you aren't ready for it week 1, that's a problem. If you aren't ready for it April 1st, it doesn't concern me too much.

    Spring Practice 2023

The most logical explanation I can think of isn't a great explanation either. Early in the season , in camp, I don't let my defense blitz during installation. I am just trying to get my offensive plays in and learned against base defense first, we definitely are not ready for pressures. In...
