Okay, thank you. I appreciate you humoring my skepticism and you aren't crazy off in thinking they are already employees because of current NIL deals. I strongly believe they should be employees already. When I say "make them employees", I'm saying that I want them to fall under wage and hour...

I think there is a good chance that the Dept. of Ed won't be very active going forward. He also reversed everything he could that Obama had done. I don't see any reason to think it won't be the same or more going forward.

I think new leadership in the Dept of Ed could choose to not enforce Title IX with NIL. I don't envision anyone forcing them to do so, either They could drum up a new interpretation claiming that it somehow doesn't apply. Again, who contradicts them? I know Congress could also pass a law about...

Before I go further, do you know anything about employment law? What the NCAA has argued in court? I ask because the answers to your questions....1. different governing laws/rules, 2. the NCAA says they aren't... are pretty basic to the topic and I'm trying to figure out if you're fucking with me.

They are not employees. If they were, NIL and transfers would look different.

The Official Irishenvy Fire Tommy Rees Thread

Tough spot. "The Browns last week announced that Watson underwent a second surgery after retearing his Achilles and would likely miss a significant portion of the 2025 season. Next for the Browns is solving their quandary at quarterback. The only other quarterback under contract for the 2025...

'22 NJ QB Steven Angeli (Notre Dame Signee)

I think the underlying point is still pretty clear... Is there a NC game scenario where putting Angeli in to throw gives ND the best chance to win? Multiple posters distorted this to make their point.

This has been an awesome read, thanks. The distorting of the scenario (down 14, 4th qtr) by all but a few is some quality message board nonsense.

Oh, it's horrible for him. Handling failure like this takes a great amount of resiliency. Said he was on his 3rd read and trying to throw an incomplete pass at the wr's feet This is the price of being a QB, I guess.

This. Lots of 4/5 star players means you have talent to plug in for injuries. I think it's the only consistent benefit of signing lots of 5 stars. A team can handle a player going down/not being good.
