I could use others if you want. Many years I could argue 4 was too many because 1 and 2 were that much better. My point was conference championships are garbage, all conferences aren't equal, and automatic bids are trash. As is a 12 team playoff.

Which is why I'm so strongly against conference champs getting the automatic bid. It would punish Mich for going 12-1 and beating better teams but reward average teams like Purdue going 8-4 with no good wins. Toss that right out the window.
