The season isn't lost, but I don't see why it would be a bad thing to sprinkle a few series in there for Angeli to get him some tick, and see a small sample size of what he can do. He legit is one play away in a season that's slipping away anyways.
But to just bench Pyne for Angeli? I don't...
I was hoping to see Mike Shanahan on that list. That's a rock star right there with the rock star name behind it.
I wouldn't be mad to see him make a leap to ND.
Could you imagine if they actually got JT Daniels though?
Would that have completely changed the entire offense you think?
Always easier to look back at the what if's. But for sure, getting a transfer QB should be the play.
Everyone knew that ND wasn't a top 5 team. It was pretty clear that this was a down year for the program. Maybe not to this extent, but still we all knew it was coming.
After watching this game, its very possible ND loses to Syracuse, Clemson and USC. I mean we all saw this being a down year, but 6-6 is a very hard pill to swallow. And it may cause them to lose out on some really important recruits.
I feel like no matter what happens from this point forward, Rees will not be back next season.
Either he keeps falling flat and they eventually replace him during the year, or he figures some shit out and turns it around and some smaller program gives him a shot as a head coach.
But, I'd say...
