I agree. I think the idea was all those guys, save maybe Quinn and alexander, would be coming back. Come to find out they were all gone within a month after the game. The announcement says that it is "kicking off a new saga for the franchise." Not sure if that means the story or just the Unreal Engine 5 is used to create the game and push the franchise forward in that sense.
